Bad Intentions are 2 girls experimenting with mixed messages. Alternating complex frequencies and rhythms, they playfully show up these signifiers of ‘the boys’ and all else around them.
Rebecca Hlodich is 21 and is deferred from her B.FineArts at QCA. Nicola Morton is 34 and has a B.Music from QCM. Started in April 2013, Bad Intentions value each other’s creative input and come together battling misunderstandings, hospitalisation, police calls and homelessness. Their performances at Audiopollen and Real Bad Music range from punk rock, to abstract poetry to performance art.
